Car #48 was one of 3 race cars built for the 1972 race season
when John Greenwood got a sponsorship with BFGoodrich Tire Co. This car
was built from a roadster chassis purchased from a salvage yard. The bodies
were 1968-1969 style to take advantage of SCCA rules. |

Note the GM style L-88 wheel well flares and clear Plexiglas
head lamp covers. These 2 parts could be purchased over the counter at GM
dealerships. I have an old copy of The Chevy Power Book with all the now
extinct GM part numbers. |

Every part to convert to these fixed head lamps could be purchased
at your local GM dealer. |

Note the front windshield blow out clips and dual Red identification
lamps on the roof of the hardtop. |
Illuminated identification lamps for the entry number on the
door. A necessary addition for 12 hours of Sebring, 24 hours of LeMans or
any event that runs in darkness. |

Full roll cage and racing seat. |

No need to worry about this wiper door opening. It looks to
be fixed in position. |
Basically a stock 1968-1975 hardtop. Note the push button
on the 1968 only doors. |
