2005 Atlantic City, NJ Corvette Event
Sunday AM I slept late and the NCRS Flight judging was well under way by 10 AM.
By sheer numbers, the C2's were most numerous, followed by C3's, then C1's and finally two C4's.
This beautiful 1956 2x4 wore the same Red/ Red dress as my 1956, but she had a radio and power windows also. I crank and hum in mine. This was the curviest body ever to escape from the styling studio. Wanna trade?
This Black 1957 was a stunning old girl. Forty-eight years old, and she looks as good as a teenager. And her skin was as smooth as a baby's ... Look at the curves on those hind quarters. Reminds me of ...

The only thing better than a Black 1957 Corvette is a Fuel Injected Black 1957 model. This one had a heater, power windows and a Wonderbar radio.

1958 was a celebratory year for GM: their 50th anniversary. All car lines Chevy, Caddy, Pontiac, Buick and Olds were highly chromed and decorated including the Corvette with it's trunk bars and wash board hood. Except for Corvette, all others were one year bodies.
There were three Fuel Injected C1's: the Black 1957 above and two 1962's: one Silver and this Red one. Note the rare PCV set up across the top of the plenum.
The carbureted Corvettes don't get the looks of their FI equals, but this Maroon 1962 was a nice original example of a 340 HP model. Note the Blackout.
This 1972 454 was another nice old original Corvette. Most all the original parts are there with few repro's as I could see. Ontario Orange.

I counted the following models being evaluated by the judges.

1956 Red 2x4; 1957 Black FI; 1958 Blue; 1962 Maroon 340 HP; 1962 Red FI; 1962 Silver FI, 1963 Tan conv; 1963 White coupe; 1966 White 327 conv; 1966 Red 327 coupe; 1966 Navy 427 conv; 1966 427; 1967 Silver 390 HP; 1967 Maroon 3x2 conv; 1969 350HP; 1972 Orange 454; 1975; 1978 Pace Car; 1978 Silver Anniv; 1980; 1982; 1985; 1989. I hope I got this right. I Never CRS.
