While in Vermont recently, I purchased two watercolors by a young Burlington, Vermont artist Annelein Beukemkamp. She has many paintings of flowers, that show great color and movement. Below is the one I gave to my wife, title Simply Red. It show 4 peonies in a crystal glass. I think watercolor is the hardest painting to master, because of the runs and bleeding of colors. This picture taken at night does not do the original justice.
I gave another to my Aunt Sil. Happy Birthday to my Aunt Sil. She got me started in Corvettes. In 1963 she let me borrow her FI coupe one summer day. For the last 32 years I have owned that car and cherished that bond we share. Back to Current Events HOME
