These AC condensers are made of Copper tubing with fragile Aluminum cooling fins. They are delicate parts, easily damaged and should be handled with care. To ensure their safe delivery, we "skin pack" them with a thick plastic onto a heavy cardboard sheet. Unpack carefully and do not pick up the condensers by the fittings. To prevent straining the fittings, remove the plastic covering by cutting it away. Do not remove the tape covering the ends of the fittings until the condenser is ready to be installed. This will prevent contamination of the core. Always blow clean dry air through the core just prior to installation. And always use new special AC O-rings with these fitting & lubricate them with AC refrigerant oil to ensure proper seating and prevent leaks. | |
