Rebuild's Corvette 73 350 or 454 Air Dam |
| Die cut sponge rubber 1" thick & 36" long, it
covers the top of radiator support from fender to fender & steps down
on either end. Instead of a straight path from left to right, it makes a
ZIG-ZAG "W" shaped pattern. The low peak contours with the under
side of the "unisex" hood found on both 350 & 454 models.

| The BLUE ARROWS shown above illustrate sharp edges or corners that are found on
original blueprints and the Dr
REBUILD reproduction. The bogus reproduction
lacks these features. Instead they have these areas radiused as curves.
Since these air dams are flattened by the hood after installation, you could
never used an original part to determine the correct profile. Apparently
Blem Products alleged "years of research and many original samples"
did not include making a die from a factory blueprint. |
