This 1969 was originally an L-88; BFGoodrich tire sponsored
and raced by John Greenwood, Don Yenko and Bob Johnson
at Daytona, Sebring and more with the other famous "Stars &
Stripe" #48, #49, #50 Corvettes. See the cover of Lugvigsen's
1973 book: "Corvette: America's Star Spangled Sports Car".
That was my first hard cover and may have been the first hard cover devoted
to Corvettes 1953-1973 and their history and development. |

These driveable chassis restorations by Kevin Mackay's
Corvette Repair shop are really great for examining all the modifications
made for racing. |

While examing this racer, I ran into my legal team:
B.Taylor, (my wife Debbie) and J. Whaley. The Virginia Walkers were exposed
by these Consiglieri C1-C2-C3 owners. |
