We are spoiled today with Corvettes racing live on TV's Speed Channel. And their coverage is better than any paper journalist could hope to accomplish. Two C6-R(acing) and one C5-R Corvette finished 2nd, 3rd, 6th in the GT1 class.

Two Corvettes were leading GT-1. Yeesssss ! and then almost a big Oooooops from car #5. Their first misfortune.

Little harm was done and after a check in the pits, Corvettes were still 1-2 in GT-1 class with 5 hours to go.

Car #5 then broke a left front suspension piece.
